its been 1 month and a half since i brought my unit in samsung service center in JONES ave. and i haven't receive any calls from them and when i try to contact them and ask about my unit and they'll just say with/in this week!and i've been trying to ask about my unit every week!!!!
can i just ask if there's a specific time or maximum days in repairing one's unit??
its better to revisit the service center for you to personally ask about the status of your item. its your right to be mad or pressure them about your concern, its not easy waiting and expecting for nothing. so far, i think ive been sending them defective monitors ( warranty/not anymore) so far so good and satisfied of their services. sometimes they are the one to call me that my defective item is already fixed and ready for pick up.
this is actually the second time that i brought my unit into their center and in the first time, i was very satisfied because less than a week i've received a phone call from them notifying me that my unit is ready for pick-up!and then when i explore my unit i found out that there's another problem which bothers me a lot!!BACK-JOB i guess!heres the problem:when somebody calls me, i cannot hear them and so as to them they cannot also hear my voice!i have to use the loudspeaker mode for the conversation to take place!and its very hassle especially when im in public!so i really want to have my unit as it is a brand new that has no defects!:)

Hello Everyone I am from India and using Samsung Galaxy Y. Some days ago, I went to Samsung Service Centre, as got some water damage. And they checked that, and told me that the phone touch and jack are destroyed and have to replace these. I said okay coz my phone was under warranty. But they told me that they would charge me 4000/-. As it was near the half amount of new phone’s price. Then I went to another service centre and they told me to charge 1600/-. So I gave my phone to them as they were charging less amount then first one. But my some of friends told me that they have charged me unnecessarily. Because if our any product is under warranty, the company pay for their repair. So I contacted the centre for same but they didn’t respond me for my issue. So, I filed my complaint in Consumer Court. I just hope for great help from their side as soon as possible. I just shared my experience to aware you guys. I hope it worked. Thanks!
be informed that warranty has certains conditions. it excludes water damage, foreign unit, impact damage such as broken lcd, cosmetivs defect, and phone locked. read the manual for guidance. also, just ensure to have thr defective parts if you paid for it. to prove thay technicians indeed replaced parts thank you.

maahi kashyap, some warranty's wont cover up for personal damages the item got from the owners mishandles. Some warranty's have limitation for its coverage. just double checked the terms and conditions of your respective products and force your way through if your in the right track.

I called samsung service center to ask them for a replacement of s pen that i lost and to my dismay they said that they don't have a replacement for s pen because its an accessory. bought a samsung galaxy Y duos S6102 Unlocked from Lazada via internet, COD. tested it right away upon arrival by transferring my SIM card from my Nokia phone. well, i can hear ringing when my niece called in after txting her but cannot reply, nor can i make calls. upon checking call settings, it turned out that all calls are disabled and required passwords. i put in numbers but all were invalid. Lazada customer people have no idea about this problem and have no idea that there is even a samsung service center in cebu. Question: can the service center in cebu unlock this mobile for me so i can make & receive calls? if so, i don't have to return it because i'm not sure whether i'll get back my money in full. thank you.

i have a very big two-door samsung ref. the compressor got busted. that was in december of 2012. i went to the samsung service center in jones avenue. i was not treated the way i was expecting of a service center. i literally begged for immediate assistance considering the volume of perishable food stored for the season. but they don't seem to mind and were only keen on hurriedly disposing of me looking at the next "victim" . good i was referred to a samsung ( contractor ) service center in sanciangko street. they gave me prompt, efficient and very friendly service that i changed my mind about samsung. so here is a million thanks to the whole staff and crew of that sanciangko service center of samsung!
Got my problem fixed! Some of us are not satisfied, but you need to take some effort for your concern and understand its process. dont act to be spoon feed. for almost a week, atleast its done.
